What to expect

Free, with no account

Every converter is free to use as often as you like. There is no sign-up, no trial and no paid tier.

Nothing added to your files

Converted videos, pictures and documents carry no watermark, logo or advert. What you save is your file in a new format.

Honest about limits

The converters are designed for current Android, iPhone, iPad and desktop browsers. What a device can convert depends on its browser, memory and codecs, and each page says so when something is not possible.

Questions

Is Convert Ferry really free?

Yes. There is no paid version, no limit on how many files you convert and no watermark.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Nothing on the site asks for your name, email address or a password.

Which devices does it work on?

It is designed for current browsers on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, Mac and Linux. Supported formats differ between browsers. Converting video to H.264 and opening HEIC photos need a current version of Chrome or Edge. Each tool tells you if your device cannot do something.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no fixed limit, but there is a practical one: your device's memory. Long or very large videos can be too much for a phone. If a conversion stops or fails, try a shorter file or a computer.

What can it not convert?

RAR and 7z archives, AVI, WMV and FLV videos, Word and Excel files, and MOBI ebooks are not supported. The pages for related tools explain what to do instead.
